    attributes of different text structures when they
    meet with you in small groups?

  5. Is meaning the focus, even when you are teaching
    strategies and skills?

  6. Are struggling readers having extensive and frequent
    opportunities to practice reading independently?

  7. Is assessment a natural part of your daily teaching and
    the driving force in your lesson planning?
